GE Fanuc Announces First Productivity Pack for Its HMI/SCADA iFIX and CIMPLICITY Customers

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. - GE Fanuc Automation, Inc., a unit of GE Industrial, today announced the availability of its first Productivity Pack for its Proficy™ HMI/SCADA iFIX and CIMPLICITY customers. Beginning with this release, GE Fanuc will turn out a regular pulse of new tools, utilities and add-ins for its HMI/SCADA products in the form of Productivity Packs available to its Proficy GlobalCare customers.

In quarters when there is not a major release of our HMI/SCADA products, customers can look forward to Productivity Packs delivering additional features.”
Among the many features that HMI/SCADA customers can look forward to in the future are additional Discovery and Auto Configuration tools for device communications including Siemens and Rockwell PLCs, biometric device driver support, email support, and scripting enhancements.

iFIX and CIMPLICITY customers that subscribe to GE Fanuc’s Proficy GlobalCare will be notified of the availability of the Productivity Packs for download. GlobalCare offers a combination of high-quality support services, tools and cost-effective maintenance so customers can optimize their investment in their software solution. GlobalCare provides a consistent worldwide backbone of professionals that offer 24 x 7 emergency support, software version upgrades and advanced support tools to keep customers productive and plants operational.
