Industry Veteran Bud Brown Joins Northwire, Inc. as Director of New Business Development
OSCEOLA, WIS. - Bud Brown has joined Northwire, Inc. as director of new business development. Brown is an industry veteran, with 27 years in electronics - 14 of them in machine vision.

"I'm eager to put my skills to work for Northwire and am pleased to be part of the team," says Brown. "Some companies talk a good talk, but Northwire actually does what it says it will do in terms of customer service, quality and serving the industry well."

Before joining Northwire, Brown was general manager of Intercon 1, a premier producer of camera cable and assemblies in the United States. Intercon 1 is a division of Nortech Systems, Inc., specializing in machine vision technology. Prior to that, Brown was a sales manager with Zercom Corporation, now also part of Nortech Systems, Inc. and a vice president with Ji-Haw Industrial Co., Ltd., a leading supplier of information technology and communication cords and connectivity in Taiwan, China and Thailand. He also held sales or marketing positions with Deco Electronics and Hirose Electric U.S.A., Inc., a connector manufacturer in Simi Valley, Calif. Brown began his career as a technical training coordinator with Force Electronics, a specialty distributor of interconnectors, located in Inglewood, (southern) California. Brown is a long-time member of the Automated Imaging Association (AIA) and a member of the Camera Link Committee.
