ISA Releases Comprehensive Catalogs of Upcoming Training Events

Research Triangle Park, N.C. (4 October 2005) - ISA has released its latest education and training course catalog, divided into three training paths: fundamental skills, continuing education for automation professionals, and technical skills training.

The catalog includes the October 2005 - June 2006 schedule of instructor-led courses and live web-based seminars, including those offered at ISA EXPO 2005 in Chicago, IL. The catalog also details hundreds of CD-ROM, online, web-based, and video courses available.

The fundamental skills path offers courses on the basics of instrumentation, measurement, and control.

The section on continuing education options for automation professionals features courses on process instrumentation; continuous process control; batch control; discrete control; motors and drives & motion control; communications, networks, & data management; MES integration; safety & environmental issues; and project management.

The technical training path offers courses and other resources on topics such as instrumentation maintenance, control systems, and industrial data communications.
