May 7, 2008 - Manfred Wittenstein, founder of WITTENSTEIN AG, has been elected to the position of President of the German Engineering Federation (VDMA). Wittenstein had been Vice President of the VDMA since 2004 and a member of the Main Board for eight (8) years.

WITTENSTEIN designs, manufactures and markets servo drive components, complete electromechanical systems and high integrity software. Its solutions are used in applications for robotics, packaging, life sciences and aerospace. WITTENSTEIN products are everywhere – from satellites miles above the earth to crude oil extraction miles below.
