Taipei, Taiwan - Since the release of Moxa’s EDS-305/308 Series, customers have been clamoring for an unmanaged switch that also has redundant ring capability. We are pleased to announce that the EDS-405 Series, which will be launched at the end of October, is just such a product. MOXA EDS-405 Series inherited all of EDS-305/308 Series’ features, including relay output alarms and redundant dual 24 VDC power inputs, and also provides a plug-n-play Ethernet Media Redundancy solution that recovers your Ethernet Ring in less than 300 ms. The added redundancy feature ensures that your industrial automation and control applications will run non-stop. The EDS-405 Series includes two models: EDS-405 with 5 10/100BaseT(X) ports; and EDS-405-MM with 3 10/100BaseT(X) ports and 2 multi-mode 100FX ports.
