Ann Arbor MI, June 14, 2001 (Amex: NMN) — Nematron Corporation, a leading developer of PC-based control solutions, introduces two new cost effective Industrial Control Computers. The ShoeBox and RackMount computers feature ISA and PCI expansion in a rugged industrial enclosure. The ShoeBox is a compact benchtop unit offering two ISA and three PCI expansion slots, while the RackMount is a 4U rack-mountable unit offering six ISA and four PCI expansion slots.
The ShoeBox and RackMount computers can be configured with either a 633 MHz Intel Celeron™ processor or an 850 MHz Intel Pentium III™. All configurations include 128 MB SDRAM, a 10 GB hard drive, 10/100 BaseT Ethernet, and standard serial, parallel, and USB ports. CD-ROM, CD-RW, and DVD-ROM options are also available. Customers can choose from the full range of Microsoft operating systems, from MS-DOS 6.22 through Windows 2000™ Server. Other configurations are available for quantity purchases.
Nematron's powerful control software suite can be factory installed on any of our industrial computers to deliver a complete, validated solution for your discrete or process HMI and control applications.
