Northwire signs rep for South America and Mexico

November 14, 2010 - Northwire Technical Cable signed Phoenix Rep Sales, a manufacturer’s representative. Phoenix Rep Sales will service Northwire’s customers in South America and Mexico.

"We are pleased to be working with a customer-driven manufacturer’s representative organization that has a strong business development record of penetrating new markets and expanding existing business in Mexico and South America, and that will complement Northwire’s customer-centric focus. The professionals at Phoenix will enable Northwire to better serve the growing demand for our technical and retractile cables and cable assemblies from life science, energy, industrial and government market segments in this rapid growth region," says Mike Conger, president of Northwire, Inc.

Phoenix Rep Sales, founded in 1996, is the largest manufacturer’s rep of electronic components in Latin America. The company specializes in business development with tier one OEM customers in medical, energy, industrial, automotive, government, consumer products and white goods markets.

Northwire, a woman-owned company, is ISO 9001:2008 certified and is engaged in professional company-wide certifications in Six Sigma, Lean, Project Management and American Society of Quality. The company’s quality control laboratory is a certified testing facility for CSA under ISO 17025. This laboratory subjects the company’s cable products to tests that surpass real-world conditions, including the extremes of bending, flexing, flame, impact, crush, oil and temperature resistance. Northwire also maintains various UL, CSA, IEEE and MSHA approvals and works closely with suppliers to offer RoHS- and REACH-compliant materials.
