Phoenix Contact--Compact Safety Relays with Reliable Separation

Harrisburg, PA - The Phoenix Contact Safety Relays (PSR) in the ME 22.5mm housing are equipped with two to eight normally open (NO) release current paths and one normally closed (NC) signaling current path. The modules are designed in accordance to EN50 178 with reinforced isolation.

The safety circuit is controlled with one or two channels, with cross circuit detection for safety category 4. All field connections are pluggable and coded, offering wiring convenience and reliability.

The modules meet the requirements of EN 954-1 Category 4 and can be used for the Stop Category 0 or 1 in accordance with EN 60204. With their compact, space saving design, the relays are well suited for Emergency Stop applications, guard-door monitoring, and two hand operation.

Using the appropriate force guided relay expansion modules, the safe connection of up to five additional NO release paths and 2 NC signaling paths is possible. The safety relays are C-UL US listed.
