Phoenix Contact Introduces Quick Connection for Field Devices
Harrisburg, PA – The time consuming task of assembling field wireable connectors to sensors or cordsets is eliminated with the new Quickon-One from Phoenix Contact. Quickon-One is a two piece, screw-less connection system that utilizes industrialized IDC contacts. The integrated IDC contacts, which provide a gas tight connection, eliminate the potential for lost screws or stray copper strands during the assembly process. In addition, there is no need to worry about screws loosening and intermittent signals as a result of vibration, temperature changes, etc. With a 30 second assembly time, Quickon-One provides a highly reliable, unparalleled time and cost savings solution.

Assembly is easy, there are no screws to loosen, no need to strip individual conductors and no special tools are required. Quickon-One has a wire range of #26 - #18 AWG and meets protection category IP65/67 for harsh environments.

Phoenix Contact Inc. Quality System is registered to ISO 9001: 2000 – Quality Systems Model for Quality Assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.
