Phoenix Contact posts daily video reports from Hanover Fair

April 12, 2013 - Once again, Phoenix Contact presented daily video news reports from the Hanover Fair (Hannover Messe) in Germany. Hanover Fair, the world’s largest industrial tradeshow, runs April 8-12 in Hanover, Germany.

The videos make it easy for American engineers to stay up-to-date on the innovations introduced at the show. Emphasizing Phoenix Contact’s “Solutions for the Future” theme, the video reports feature product launches, customer and employee interviews and other top stories from the fair.

Every year, Phoenix Contact introduces several new innovations at the Hanover Fair. In addition, the booth will showcase solutions with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency, including photovoltaics, wind energy, smart energy distribution and e-mobility.

A team of students from Early College EAST in Havelock, N.C., will attend the show courtesy of Phoenix Contact USA. The team won the Nanoline Contest 2013 for designing and building the “Delian One Remotely Operated Vehicle.” The unmanned vehicle uses Phoenix Contact’s Nanoline Controller and nanoNavigator software to remotely maneuver and explore an underwater environment. They will present their project in TectoYou, a special hall at the Hanover Fair dedicated to inspiring young people to consider careers in engineering.
