PSI Tronix--Intrinsically Safe Industrial Pressure Transmitters for Harsh Applications
TULARE, CA – PSI-Tronix, a division of Scientific Technologies Inc., introduces PT-420 IS Series Intrinsically Safe Industrial Pressure Transmitters. These pressure transmitters feature a DIN electrical connector and are engineered to be intrinsically safe as tested and certified by CSA. They are certified for use in Class I, Div. 1, Group B, C, D; Class II, Group E, F, G; and Class III Type 4X locations.

PT-420 IS Series transmitters are precision engineered to fit the majority of industrial pressure measurement applications in processing and control operations. They feature a solid state transducer element and 4-20 mA standard output. Each unit is individually tested and calibrated to achieve accuracy to ±0.25 B.F.S.L. Additionally, they are temperature compensated to assure superior accuracy and long term stability when subjected to severe ambient temperature variations. The circuit board uses state-of-the-art surface mount technology, and is potted for maximum protection against vibration, shock and humidity.

PSI-Tronix Technologies Inc., is a division of Scientific Technologies Inc., which has been selected twice by Forbes and three times by Business Week as one of the “world’s best small companies.” STI’s Automation Products Group serves the factory automation, semiconductor, transportation, oil and gas, consumer and food processing industries with a diversified offering of sensing technologies.
