Rockwell Automation Achieves Kodak Supplier Quality Process Certification

June 162003
Company recognized for achieving quality, cost, delivery standards

MILWAUKEE, June 16, 2003 — In recognition of its ability to continually exceed Eastman Kodak Company’s supplier expectations for quality, Rockwell Automation was recently presented with Kodak’s Supplier Quality Process (SQP) certification.

As a supplier to Kodak, the SQP award recognizes Rockwell Automation for demonstrating and providing year-over-year productivity improvements; world-class product/service quality levels; delivery and lead time performance that provides Kodak with assurance and flexibility; and evidence of a sound and effective quality system.

“Rockwell Automation is committed to enhancing its customer successes worldwide with products, services and responsiveness that set industry standards for quality and value,” said Keith Nosbusch, president, Control Systems, Rockwell Automation. “We relentlessly strive to be the best in every aspect of our business. Kodak’s challenge, through SQP certification, is to continually review and enhance our own world-class
standards in quality, cost and delivery of products and services to our customers.

The SQP certification, Kodak’s Q1 award for supplier quality, is a measure of the long-term value of Eastman Kodak Company’s manufacturing partnerships with its non-capital and capital suppliers. Through the Supplier Quality Process, Rockwell Automation and other Kodak suppliers are held to stringent criteria for providing and documenting improved cost productivity, on-time performance, and product reliability. Rockwell Automation has received numerous Q1 awards from Kodak since the 1990s.
