Spectrum Controls Announces New 8-Channel Analog Output For Allen-Bradley SLC 500
BELLEVUE, Washington (November 2001) - Spectrum Controls, Inc., a Rockwell Automation Global Encompass Partner, is featuring the 1746sc-NO8. This module is an eight-channel analog output module that is available in current or voltage output types. It is the first high-density output to offer user programmable features while maintaining compatibility with low-density alternatives. The NO8 has the lowest price per point of any SLC 500 analog output module.

The modules feature 16-bit precision, factory calibration, and two modes of operation. Class 1 operation provides basic data output. Class 3 operation allows the user to define engineering units, output ramp rates, output clamping values, and process alarms. The user may also define output safe states should a fault occur. The modules also feature scan times of 1 millisecond per channel or less.

Spectrum Controls manufactures electronic hardware and related software products for the industrial controls marketplace and has been in business since 1983.
