Tosibox announces support for Paris Call for Trust and Security in Cyberspace

November 12, 2019 - Tosibox Oy announced its support for the declaration that sends a signal and manifests a common desire to work together to strengthen everyone’s security in the digital space.
The digital space, more simply known as “cyberspace”, has become a new place for economic opportunities and social transformations. In recent years, France has made strengthening the stability of this space one of its priorities. The country aims to enable cyberspace to be a forum for discussions for all States, their citizens and businesses. To achieve this, they are promoting a rules-based cyberspace, where international law applies and where fundamental freedoms and human rights are respected.
”This is an important initiative and Tosibox is proud to be a part of the movement. We are committed to working together to increase prevention against and resilience to malicious online activity, to protect the integrity of the Internet, and to improve the security of digital products and services as well as everybody’s cyber hygiene. As the explosion of the Internet of Everything (IoE) continues to expand, everything will eventually become connected to the internet. We want to be in the forefront and give our contribution to make the world a more trustworthy place to live and interact,” says Jarno Limnéll, CEO at Tosibox.
The Paris Call for Trust and Security in Cyberspace was launched by President Emmanuel Macron at the UNESCO Internet Governance Forum (IGF) on November 12, 2018. This high-level declaration in favor of the development of common principles for securing cyberspace has already received the backing of 564 official supporters: 67 States, 139 international and civil society organizations, and 358 entities of the private sector. The list of supporters will be updated during the Paris Peace Forum on November 12, 2019.
