BURGAW, N.C. (March 22, 2002) — Expanding its line of wipos industrial power supplies, Wieland Electric Inc. announced the introduction of a 20A, 24V switch mode version for 115VAC input applications. The DIN rail mount module features optimal output characteristics, even in the event of overload.

The wipos Series provides several methods to avoid overload problems such as hiccup mode, fold-back mode, constant current mode and over-current switch-off mode. In addition, standard features include power factor correction according to EN 61000-3-2, temperature-prompted power limitation, adjustable output voltage range of 23V - 27V, selectable output current balancing during parallel operation, reduced ramp up time of <1s and reduced ripple on the output (<50mV).
