WINA conducts Wireless Technology Tours at ISA EXPO

Research Triangle Park, NC – September 20, 2007 - WINA will sponsor a Wireless Tech Tour entitled "No Wires, No Hype" at ISA EXPO 2007, 2-4 October in Houston, Texas. WINA will also host three conference sessions as part of the event's Wireless and Networking Exchange.

The Wireless Tech Tour will give attendees a chance to hear expert overviews of the various wireless technologies available in the market today. The tour will move through the ISA EXPO exhibit floor, providing information, answering questions, and responding to participant's wireless interests in a casual group environment. The daily tours will be led by WINA executives.

The tours will depart from the WINA kiosk in the Automation Federation Pavilion, booth #2610, on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday at 12:00 p.m., and Thursday at 12:00 p.m.

WINA will also hold three conference sessions as part of ISA EXPO 2007's Wireless and Networking Exchange. "WINA: Wireless Applications, Sensors, and Networks in Operational Environments Part I" will be held on Tuesday, 2 October, 2-3:30 p.m. During the same time on Wednesday, a WINA representative will present "WINA: Process Industry Applications for Wireless Sensors." The third conference session, entitled "WINA: Wireless Applications, Sensors, and Networks in Operational Environments Part II," will be held on Thursday, 4 October, 4-5:30 p.m.

The Wireless and Networking Exchange features sessions, tutorials, and presentations focused on topics like SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition), signal compatibility, wireless, cyber security, fieldbuses, industrial Ethernet, safety buses, EDDL (Electronic Device Description
Language) network selection, and the ISA100 wireless standards.
