World's Largest, Free Education Forum for Manufacturing Technology Begins this Week

Rockwell Automation Kicks Off the 13th Annual Automation Fair

MILWAUKEE, Oct. 25, 2004 - Rockwell Automation Inc. (NYSE: ROK) this week hosts an international gathering of more than 10,000 manufacturing customers, analysts and partners at its 13th annual Automation Fair. Taking place Oct. 27 - 28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., Automation Fair is the world's largest free educational forum - featuring tutorial and technical sessions, demos, labs and exhibits - for manufacturers who want to use automation to their global competitive advantage.

The day before Automation Fair, Rockwell Automation will host "Manufacturing Perspectives 2004," a forum addressing global manufacturing trends and the role of technology in driving productivity. The forum will feature international experts from The Conference Board, the National Coalition for Advanced Manufacturing (NACFAM), AMR Research, and ARC Advisory Group, as well as manufacturing leaders from 3M, Cisco, Coors Brewing Co, DuPont, IBM, John Deere, Mercedes-Sao Paulo, Nestle-Chile, and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, all Rockwell Automation customers.
