AS-Schneider moves into a new building in Dubai

October 23, 2015 – AS-Schneider continues to invest in the growth market of the Middle East: The subsidiary of the Nordheim instrumentation specialist in Dubai has moved to a new, 500 square metre company building in early October. This not only provides more space for offices and warehouses, but also for in-house production. This means that AS-Schneider can serve its local customers even faster and more reliably.

The Gulf States with their booming oil and gas industry are an important future market with high potential for valve manufacturers. Already in 2012, AS-Schneider founded a subsidiary in Dubai. "The order situation has evolved splendidly since then", reports Tim-Frederik Kohler, Managing Director of AS-Schneider Middle East. "So well that our previous office with its 37 square metres was soon too small for us."

The new building is much more spacious with about 500 square metres of office and warehouse space. AS-Schneider also wants to assemble valves on-site here for the first time. "Many users have special requirements for which we develop special solutions", Kohler describes. "With the new production and storage capacities, we can respond to requests faster and more flexibly and better serve our customers."

With a nine-million euro order for the Saudi chemical plant Sadara, AS-Schneider was recently able to conclude the biggest project of its history. "This shows that in the Arabian region, we are already established as a reliable and efficient partner", says a pleased Kohler. "We want to build on this."
