Micro-Epsilon publishes Measurement Product Guide

April 8, 2015 - Micro-Epsilon published a 36-page “Measurement Product Guide 2015” that includes 13 new products. The fully revised edition provides a summary of Micro-Epsilon’s comprehensive range of products, from sensors for displacement, distance, position and length measurement, to 2D/3D laser sensors for dimensional measurements, non-contact temperature sensors, thermal imaging cameras, optical micrometers and fibre optic sensors, colour sensors and LED analysers, sensors for specific OEM applications, and full turnkey measurement and inspection systems.
As well as providing information on sensor products, the catalogue also describes the various measuring techniques that the sensors employ, whilst providing application examples supported by photographs and illustrations wherever possible. The Guide also provides a technical specification summary for each sensor series, including selection factors such as measuring range, linearity, resolution, repeatability, measuring rate, profile frequency and response time.
Micro-Epsilon is a manufacturer of sensors, headquartered in Germany. The company’s range of displacement sensors measure everything from to distance, position, vibration, dimensions and thickness, using both contact and non-contact measurement techniques. These techniques include 1D, 2D and even 3D laser-optical sensors and systems, eddy-current, capacitive, LVDT & inductive, potentiometric and draw-wire principles. In addition, Micro Epsilon has developed its own range of non-contact infrared temperature sensors that can measure virtually any target temperature from -40 to +3,300°C. The company also manufactures a comprehensive range of colour recognition sensors.
