Flow-Cal to supply gas measurement software to Veresen

June 4, 2012 - Flow-Cal announced that Calgary, Alberta-based energy infrastructure company, Veresen selected Flow-Cal’s software as their corporate measurement solution.  Veresen owns and operates energy infrastructure assets across North America, focusing on principal businesses that include pipeline, midstream and power operations.

Veresen selected Flow-Cal’s flagship measurement system as an off-the-shelf solution with an open system architecture and flexibility, allowing them to streamline many internal processes.  The results will prove increased efficiencies in processing data while maintaining the integrity of that data.  Their elected Client/Server Gas version provides a platform to which users can add optional FLOWCAL Enterprise modules in order to scale the system to their evolving needs.

“Veresen has joined the ranks of other leading Canadian energy companies to implement FLOWCAL,” says Michael DeMasie, Flow-Cal’s Chief Operating Officer.  “Not only are they receiving a time and money saving solution, but the core functionalities meet the stringent demands of the Canadian Enhanced Production Audit Program (EPAP).”

Flow-Cal’s Enterprise system links larger, more complex operations to one central system, providing a common user interface to consolidate, review, validate, edit, store and report EFM data. Flow-Cal’s advanced data validation and editing features automate field data processing, producing fast, accurate and auditable results that meet or exceed all industry standards.
