Webinar: Intrinsic Cyber Security Changes Everything About Automation

On-Demand Webinar

The relevance of cyber security to automation is no longer in question. However, the consequences to owners of deploying ICS cyber security is a more complicated and expensive system for the entire lifecycle of use, with little guarantee of success. This is due to the heterogeneity of bolted on IT security applied to legacy OT systems. When cyber security is the primary forcing function of a new automation system design, the outcome is a revolution of performance and reliability for users while delivering the lowest lifecycle cost. Automation becomes stronger and better in ways inconceivable without intrinsic cyber defense.

Join Bedrock Automation for this webinar discussing in real terms how "Intrinsic Cyber Changes Everything About Automation…for the better and forever".

Presenter: Albert Rooyakkers – Founder, CTO, VP Engineering at Bedrock Automation

Albert has more than 30 years of process control and electronics industry experience. Before founding Bedrock Automation he directed business and application development teams for Maxim Integrated Products, including serving as Japan country manager. Prior to that, he served in product and business development capacities for Invensys, including directing new product development for systems and sensors and managing the Saudi Aramco account. Accomplishments include developing a parallel processor architecture from whiteboard to silicon, advanced hybrid propulsion systems and currently, designing and commercializing the Bedrock cyber secure industrial control system. Albert holds more than 100 patents and patents pending in electronics, human interface, mechanical design, system design and cyber security.

Moderator: Bill Lydon – Editor at Automation.com

Bill brings more than 10 years of writing and editing expertise to Automation.com, plus more than 25 years of experience designing and applying technology in the automation and controls industry.
