Red Trident named as Siemens Solution Partner for Industrial Networks
April 20, 2017 -- Red Trident, a cyber security and automation firm focused on protecting critical infrastructure, announced that it has been named a Siemens Solution Partner for one of its Technology Modules – Industrial Strength Networks. Red Trident is one of six such Partners in the U.S.
In a recent study from the Ponemon Institute sponsored by Siemens – The State of Cybersecurity in the Oil & Gas Industry: United States it was reported that, on average, 46 percent of cyber attacks are believed by respondents to go undetected, and nearly 70 percent of oil and gas companies were hacked in the past year.
Red Trident’s RF engineering solutions and services include deploying wireless backhaul networks, conducting full RF spectrum analysis, terrain analysis, signal loss analysis, submitting FCC filings, and designing and managing point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and static or dynamic mesh networks. As the first Siemens Solution Partner having extensive technical expertise with both the Siemens SCALANCE and RUGGEDCOM product lines, Red Trident will be working to integrate the Siemens CROSSBOW secure access management solution designed to provide NERC CIP compliant access to intelligent electronic devices within customer solutions.
Solution Partners that have expertise with Ethernet Infrastructure products and excel in RF engineering, designing, programming, implementation, installation and commissioning of industrial wireless solutions can meet the criteria for the Industrial Strength Networks program.
