Balluff introduces online RFID configurator tool

June 14, 2019 — With Balluff’s online RFID configurator tool, users can select the product combinations required for configuring an RFID system to meet application needs.
Users can select the primary driver of their application — data carrier (also called a tag or a chip), read/write head (also called an antennae), or processor — and the configurator filters remaining selections to only those tested and proven to work together.
Products can additionally be filtered by required frequency — high frequency (BIS M), low frequency (BIS L) and Balluff proprietary low frequency for machine tool identification (BIS C), as well as by data carrier mounting options — metal free, non-flush, and flush.
Once a system has been built to meet the application needs, users can add products to the web cart, where they can view availability and pricing, or export the product list to an Excel or CSV file.
Additional products will be added to the configurator tool as they are released.
Key features include:
- Web configuration system simplifies the RFID system product selection and ordering process
- Product combinations have been tested and proven compatible together
- Configurator groups; High Frequency (BIS M), and two for Low Frequency (BIS C and BIS L)
