Phoenix Contact introduces TC Router series of industrial cellular modems

September 11, 2018Phoenix Contact’s TC Router series of industrial cellular modems are designed for the 4G LTE network, with approvals for both Verizon and AT&T. An integrated security firewall and Virtual Private Network (VPN) protect against unauthorized access and maintain data integrity.

The TC Router series is designed for the intensity of industrial environments, with an extended temperature rating of -40 to 70 degrees C and DIN rail mounting. Additionally, the industrial cellular modems have an energy-saving mode for reduced power consumption and can operate from 10 to 30 V DC for line or solar power.

These features make the TC Router series suitable for connections between Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) servers, PLCs, camera surveillance or any Ethernet field device.
