BURGAW, N.C. (April 15, 2003) – Wieland Electric, Inc announces a new single phase primary switch mode power supply rated 24V / 2.5 Amps. This new power supply has some of the same features and benefits found in our entire line of switch-mode power supplies such as “on” LED indicator, protection against continuous short circuit and off-load operation, high efficiency, and a wide input range of 94-265 VAC. It also features RFI suppression in accordance to VDE 0875 T11/EN 55011/EN55022 and safety according to VDE 0805/ EN60950/ IEC950. The nominal voltage of the 24V/2.5 A power supply is 105-250VAC, 47-63 Hz wide-range and an output voltage of 24V with an output current of 0-2.5A. The wipos series of power supplies are used more often than linear supplies, because they are more efficient, produce less heat, and are smaller and more economical. Today’s control and industrial markets require product size reduction and easy installation. Wieland’s wipos series are both compact and DIN rail mountable. All of the wipos series power supplies, both horizontal and vertical, single – through three phase, are currently available from Wieland stock.
