Minneapolis, MN – September 30, 2003–TURCK Inc. introduces an expanded line of inductive analog sensors with a variety of new housing styles and functions. Historically, TURCK has been very successful with inductive analog sensors. Based on this success and to meet the latest market needs, we have expanded our line of inductive analog sensors to offer the most extensive and technically superior styles on the market. TURCK has expanded this analog line with special regard to the following three features: 1. Extended Sensing Range The major cylindrical styles (12 mm, 18 mm, 30 mm) are now available with an extended linear sensing range that is up to a 100% longer. This series is called analog+. With this addition, TURCK now offers the longest sensing range in the market! 2. Technical Improvements The repeatability of all styles has been improved and is now specified at less than 1%. The temperature drift can be determined exactly in the respective temperature range of the application. The temperature drift is now specified at 0.06% per °C. 3. Housing Style Additions TURCK has added self-contained 6.5 mm and 8 mm diameter sensors to the product line. We have also developed, 4 and 5 mm styles with remote amplifiers. In addition to the cylindrical sensors mentioned above, we have recently expanded our rectangular Q-pak® line of sensors with sensing ranges up to 40 mm. With this complete product family, TURCK is now able to meet a large range of analog applications. TURCK is a leading supplier of advanced sensing solutions to help manufacturers improve their automated processes, products and profits.
