DVT to Host Vision Industry Leaders at Global Business Conference
8th annual event expected to break attendance recordsDuluth, GA, April 2, 2004 The JW Marriott in Summerlin (Las Vegas) Nevada will be the site of DVTs 2004 Global Business Conference and User Group Meeting (GBC). Participants from around the world will gather September 12-16 to hear top industry experts and participate in a variety of training programs, industry breakout sessions and management development seminars. Keynote speakers scheduled for this years event include Robert Steinke, Chairman & CEO of DVT Corporation; James Hunter, Management Consultant and author of the pivotal book on leadership, The Servant Leader; and Dr. Sung Won Sohn, Executive VP & Chief Economist, Wells Fargo Banks. Dr. Sohn was chosen by Bloomberg magazine as one of the nations top five forecasters of economic growth. He has also served on the Presidents Council of Economic Advisors. The program will also include vision experts from Fortune 500 end-user companies, system integrators, illumination and optics companies who will conduct more than 120 breakout sessions during the four and one half day event. In addition to the business meeting and breakout sessions, attendees can visit an interactive vision exhibition where more than 45 leading companies in the areas of vision, lighting, optics, robotics, motion control and automation systems are expected to participate. Experts from each of the exhibiting companies will be on-hand to answer questions and provide assistance on vision applications.
