Customer-Run Event Features New Products from the Experion PKS Portfolio, More Than 50 Customer-Speakers from Around the WorldPHOENIX, June 14, 2004 - Honeywell (NYSE: HON) kicked off its 31st annual Users' Group symposium today in Phoenix. With a record attendance of more than 600 participants, the process industry's most influential decision-makers, from 26 countries, will gather for the five-day event, which ends June 17.The symposium is developed by and for industrial users of Honeywell solutions. A 12-member, customer-led steering committee determines the symposium theme and agenda. Presentation topics at the symposium range from legacy system migration to alarm rationalization and management to the benefits of wireless technology. Representatives from Anheuser Busch, Georgia Pacific-Corp., DuPont Co. and many other global Fortune 500 organizations will deliver presentations on a variety of topics. This transformation is cost-effective and takes less than 10 minutes. It can be performed with minimal disruption to operations and without replacing any operator consoles. * Experion R210 Platform. The advanced unified architecture of this new product integrates Experion applications to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. * Operations Management Pro (OM Pro) R200. This solution's advanced tools provide refiner workers with the information they need to maintain normal plant operations. OM Pro sends immediate notifications of process disturbances, enabling operators to continuously monitor plant performance and steer operations closer to economic targets. * Workcenter R210. Employees gain immediate access to information about production, quality and performance with Workcenter R210. This new product facilitates collaborative decision-making and teamwork across the entire enterprise. * POMSnet. This new production management tool optimizes operational performance in the Life Sciences industry. Honeywell POMSnet manages specifications for products, materials and equipment, allowing operators to rapidly deploy information across businesses and make decisions quickly and confidently. POMSnet also complies with CFR 21 Part 11 and ISA manufacturing standards. * Uniformance® PHD R210. This application makes data visible throughout the entire enterprise, facilitating communication among workers. * Profit Suite® R220. New advanced control and optimization applications within Profit Suite R220 help customers maximize production capacity, increase production flexibility, improve asset utilization and reduce time to market for new products. * OptiVISION R510. This leading order-fulfillment system is specifically designed for pulp and paper industry customers. Itaddresses the full spectrum of industry- specific requirements, such as order, production, quality and inventory management, and advanced planning and scheduling. Three more international Users Group gatherings are also scheduled for 2004. Honeywell Asia Pacific customers will gather in Australia Aug. 22-25.
