Concord, On, March 29 th , 2004 – RuggedCom Inc. announces the release of its new network management software, RuggedVue™, for use with its industry leading RuggedSwitch family of industrially hardened Ethernet switches.RuggedVue™ is a server based tool that provides an extremely powerful method for visualizing the performance and representing the true physical structure of any network. It also provides a means to visually organize web based content and allows users from various departments within an organization to easily navigate with graphical and easy to use network management tools.RuggedVue™ dynamically discovers, using multiple TCP/IP mechanisms, all nodes that exist on a network. A database is created containing specific details from all managed switches and SNMP enabled devices. The web browser can then access the RuggedVue™ server to visualize the exact physical network topology and status of all connected devices.FEATURES:Graphic Visualization: The exact network layout is represented with a hyperbolic tree structure for ease of use, overview and tracking on a single page.Dynamic Discovery: RuggedVue™ and its inherent dynamic nature will discover and track all wireless, roaming or fixed devices in real time.Real Time Monitoring: All devices and their connection, including wireless, in the network are constantly monitored for their potential status.Documenting System: RuggedVue™ allows linking to all types of documentation in different web accessible locations.
