Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) Accepts Delivery of Indus PassPort Product and Places Follow-on Order for Additional Users

ATLANTA, April 19, 2004 – Indus International Inc. (NASDAQ: IINT), a leading provider of Service Delivery Management (SDM)™ solutions, today announced that TEPCO has received and accepted the Indus PassPort™ product. Furthermore, TEPCO has placed a follow-on order for additional users for its PassPort implementation at 17 nuclear power plants throughout Japan.“We are very proud of the job our development, professional services and in-country operations teams have done in delivering the Japanese version of our PassPort product in partnership with IBM to meet the requirements of this important customer,” said Indus President and CEO Greg Dukat. “We will recognize the revenue from last year’s contract with TEPCO in our June quarter which will be a great start to our new fiscal year and build upon the profitability that we attained in the March quarter.”TEPCO signed a contract for a localized version of PassPort in April 2003 in order to enhance work management and reporting capabilities for its nuclear facilities, which provide stable and consistent power to one of the largest and most demanding customer bases in the world: the Greater Tokyo Metropolitan Area. The solution includes Work Management, Inventory Management and Action Tracking.
