WAGO Introduces New Regional Sales Manager Covering Georgia and South Carolina
Germantown, WI, May 2004 WAGO Corporation is pleased to announce the addition of Mr. Walter Brooks to Regional Sales Manager covering the area of Georgia and South Carolina. Walter is an excellent addition to the WAGO team and brings many years of experience in the industrial sales field that is combined with solid hands-on knowledge of the motion controls industry, said Toby Thomann, National Sales Manager. Walter comes over to WAGO after spending six years with Automation Intelligence, Inc. (A.I.) a Sanyo Denki Corporation. While employed at A.I., Walter held a variety of positions at different periods, beginning with being an applications engineer/inside sales, then being promoted to Regional Sales Manager for the western portion of the US & then the eastern US.With a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Tuskegee University and a Masters degree in Business from National-Louis University, Walter brings with him extensive knowledge of motion control application(s) and the building of successful sales channels. Walter has even been featured in Control Engineering on several occasions for his input on various machine designs.Walter attributes much of his success to the lessons learned while playing a variety of sports on different levels . . . including a very brief stint on the professional level.
