Micro Motion Coriolis meters were chosen for accurate dye measurement, previous Axflow experience having shown the meters suitable for this pulsating flow application. The main gel flow delivery was measured using a Rosemount hygienic magnetic flowmeter in a 2” line size, fitted with Tri-Clamp connections to suit the requirement. For the future, Axflow noted the smaller space that would have been needed if Rosemount IDF fittings were specified, which can result in cost savings and a smaller overall skid size.
