Siemens Process Automation User Community Schedules 2005 Conference - Bridge to Innovation

SPRING HOUSE, Pa. (September 21, 2004) - Siemens Energy & Automation announces that its annual Process Automation user community conference will be held in Tampa, Fla., May 4-6. The conference is open to all users of Siemens process automation systems. This annual event provides a unique opportunity for the users of Siemens APACS+, APS, PCS, SIMATIC APT, SIMATIC IT, SIMATIC PCS 7, SIMATIC PCS 7 OSx, SIMATIC S7-F and QUADLOG process automation systems to exchange information, to learn from each other and to provide valuable product feedback to Siemens. Representatives from companies around the globe who use Siemens process automation systems attend this annual event. The theme of this year's conference is "Bridge to Innovation," and the program will include a variety of technical presentations and discussions lead by User Community members, as well as Siemens experts. Gary Dickinson, superintendent I&E at CF Industries, is the chairman of the 2005 Siemens Process Automation Systems User Community; Chris DaCosta, global controls platform manager at Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., is the vice chairman. The user conference will be held at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel Marina. The hotel towers above the downtown Channel District and the Marriott Waterside Marina & Baywalk, with brilliant views of Hillsborough Bay and the Tampa cityscape.
