Forest Technologies today released three major training modules for the Project Management Series of “A Practiced Guide to Revenue Recognition”, module-2 SOX and SAB101 Compliance for Revenue Recognition, Module-3 Using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to Improve Revenue Forecast Quality, and Module-5 Project Delivery, Reporting & Monitoring for Revenue Recognition. These training programs optimize project-based backlog revenue flow to the corporate income statement and improve performance to backlog revenue forecast. Forest Technologies also released their Account Management series of “A Practiced Guide to Revenue Recognition” earlier in May 2005.The Project Management training series covers all aspects of the “Project-Revenue Lifecycle” including Financial Compliance to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and SEC Staff Accounting Bulletin 101 (SAB101), revenue recognition basics, using EVMS to improve revenue forecast quality, and project delivery architecting during the capture management process for optimized revenue recognition. The training outcome is to “think revenue” in addition to the traditional “think cost and schedule” for project capture and delivery.
