COLUMBUS, OH., June 21, 2005 - Honeywell [NYSE: HON] Sensing and Control Sensotec family of miniature and subminiature load cells deliver big performance in a small package. These miniature units are available in tension and compression models and cover a wide range of capacities from 50 grams to 10,000 pounds. With sizes as small as 0.13" high and ½" in diameter, these units may be incorporated into existing machines or any space-restricted area. And the rugged all-welded construction insures reliable operation in even the most demanding situations.Miniature load cells are available with accuracies to 0.1% and offer a standard operating temperature of -65° to 250°F. A variety of temperature compensation options are available for more severe applications. Standard output is mV/V, with high level output available via in-line amplifiers.Applications include force monitoring on flight simulators and in a variety of robotics and animated characters, industrial quality control monitoring for parts joining and testing, or anywhere consistent forces are required.Many units are stocked for quick delivery, and numerous standard options require a short lead time.
