(RWT) to assemble the Universal Robot Controller (URC) to meet production requirements in the Midwest. There are more than 135,000 robots being used in North America explains Walter Weisel, Chairman and CEO of Innova Holdings and RWT, and the highest concentration of these is in the Midwest where they are used by automobile manufacturers, Tier 1 suppliers, and other heavy equipment manufacturers. The URC, with its plug-and-play capability to replace obsolete proprietary controls with todays state-of-the art open architecture controls is a cost-effective solution to extend the life of robotic systems that are in good mechanical condition.
