Utilizing a low profile, 5mm wide magnetic band, programmable resolutions to 1 micron direct from the sensor are obtainable. Programmable real-time edge separation along with on-board status LED’s and a ride height run-out of 2mm are also new product enhancements.The SIKO encoder utilizes a magnetic technology, offering large advantages over optical systems.
