WIELAND ELECTRIC INC. (April, 2005) –Wieland has released its latest generation plotter and software for custom marking its DIN rail terminal blocks. The Wieplot 500 plotter uses a windows-based program (Wiemarc 2.0) to interface with a PC, allowing the user to print customized identification markings on Wieland’s standard marking tags. These standard tags can be used on all three styles of Wieland’s terminal blocks: screw cage, spring clamp and insulation displacement. Key benefits of the Wieplot 500 include automatic template recognition and auto calibration for error free marking, optimized plotter pen seal, a pen priming cycle to neatly start the flow of ink, and durable marking card templates that are suitable for industrial environments. The upgraded software, Wiemarc 2.0, provides the user with a choice of font sizes and styles, flexible text alignment, copy, paste and increment functions, and special symbols for circuit identification. Wieland offers a package, the Wieplot 500 Kit, that provides the user with everything needed to custom mark Wieland’s, and third party, DIN rail terminal blocks, including the plotter, software, templates, pen, refillable ink cartridge, pen cleaning set, pen tip seals, priming plates and dust cover. Net Price for Wieplot 500 Kit is $2,450.00 USD, and is currently in stock. For more information about Wieland’s Wieplot 500 Kit visit www.wielandinc.com.
