The Berlin-based security specialist Innominate Security Technologies AG and Hirschmann Automation and Control GmbH, located in Neckartenzlingen, Germany, are pleased to announce a strategic partnership. The starting point for the alliance will be a joint trade fair stand at the Interkama+ “Secure Automation” (hall 7, stand A43), the international lead fair for process automation within the Hannover Messe. Both companies will present innovative solutions covering the fields of industrial security and Industrial Ethernet.In the spotlight at the joint trade fair stand will be the presentation of a security solution for remote maintenance conducted via the Internet, which is based on the “Eagle mGuard” industry firewall co-developed by the two companies. Under the auspices of the partnership, Innominate’s complete portfolio of mGuard security appliances now features the “Industrial HiVision” network management software from Hirschmann. Additionally, Hirschmann offers its customers technical support for the entire mGuard product portfolio.Dr. Klaus Zwerina, Marketing Director at Hirschmann, welcomes the expanded co-operation: “Network security in convergent industrial networks is a top priority for us.
