Burkley, a key partner in the private investment group that launched ISONAS in 1999, has been serving the company as Vice President of Engineering and Technology Development. Burkley has been a member of the ISONAS management team since the company started, leading research and development efforts. He is credited with developing the Crystal Matrix Software ™ that is bundled with all ISONAS IP Readers, facilitating direct connection to the company’s data network and providing customers with real-time control of all door functions from a computer. In the course of a 30-year career, he developed many unique Windows NT applications, drivers, website systems and database software for corporate clients. Working for IBM, he also built many successful engineering and manufacturing applications, with special emphasis on interactive three dimensional graphics systems. Prior to joining ISONAS, Burkley also had the distinction of working on the 9-1-1 system at SCC Communications Corporation. Most recently he developed the software enabling ISONAS’ IP Reader-Controllers to go wireless.
