Wavetrend appoints Chief Financial Officer

Wavetrend has appointed Robin Halliday as its new CFO. An experienced finance professional with an established and successful track record as Chief Finance Officer of both public and private technology growth companies, Robin brings to the group in-depth operational experience of managing the finance and back office support teams of high growth technology businesses. Most recently Robin has been working on a number of interim assignments including managing the pan-European finance function of a $1bn+ turnover quoted US services business and managing the finance team and fund raising activities of an ex-BT spin-out in the telecoms software/services sector. Prior to that, Robin managed and led two successful IPO’s, one on AIM, the other a full LSE listing and has successfully completed numerous private equity fund raisings and M&A transactions. Robin trained at Price Waterhouse and is a Chartered Accountant, Chris Bishop, CEO of Wavetrend, said: “As Wavetrend scales up its operations in line with strong international demand for its products, it is vital for us to have a finance director of Robin’s calibre to manage our operations.
