About Stonewater’s FIMS Functionality Stonewater’s Field Instrument Management System has the ability to monitor data remotely in real-time from any type of field instrument. The system also monitors internal forensic information about the instrument’s performance. This diagnostic data provides analytical instrument manufacturers with a superior tool to manage their assets remotely and provides lower cost maintenance services. Stonewater’s Device Server has it’s own firewall, access validation and encryption security. By pushing information from the edge the system is highly scalable. It reports exceptions to minimize network traffic but provides full data streams if necessary.
