ISA announces Honors and Awards Gala

Research Triangle Park (28 June 2007) - The annual ISA Honors & Awards Gala will be held 1 October 2007 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Houston in Houston, Texas.The event honors individuals and companies with significant accomplishments in the automation industry. This year, ISA received a record number of nominations in nearly twenty award categories. Award categories range from contribution to the Society through leadership and service to technical awards presented for innovation and advancement in the arts and sciences of automation. The award nominees will be voted on this week at the ISA Spring Leaders Meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona, and will be announced next week. "It's more important today than ever before that we honor the people who make a difference in our industry," said Steve Huffman, ISA President. "The Gala gives us an opportunity to recognize the excellence of automation professionals from around the world." Gala tickets, and reserved tables, are available for purchase.
