Mustang Engineering opens office in Greenville, S.C.

HOUSTON – August 8, 2007 – Mustang Engineering expanded its Automation and Control (MAC) business into Greenville, S.C. to support the company’s continued growth in the region. MAC is a leading provider of engineering, integration and implementation services for automation, control and information systems to the upstream oil and gas, refining and chemical industries. With the expansion into Greenville, MAC hopes to leverage the success of Mustang’s Process & Industrial business and grow its client base in other industries, including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, automotive, and pulp and paper. “We’re excited about the expansion of our automation business in the southeast,” states Don Colchin, manager of Mustang Automation and Control. “The expansion into Greenville is one more element in our plan to provide independent, turnkey automation services to the process industries.”Mustang appointed Jim Stanley as MAC manager of Operations - Greenville to head the new operation and build the company's presence in the southeast. Stanley has been at Mustang for six years and has led MAC’s La Porte, Texas, operations, providing automation field services to refineries and chemical plants in the Houston Ship Channel area, for the past two and a half years. Prior to Mustang he held positions with ABB Automation and Instrument Control Service in Pensacola, Fla. and Charleston, S.C.
