Redmond, WA – April 7, 2008 – CoroWare released a community technology preview (CTP) version of the CoroWare ClassPack for Microsoft Robotics Studio (ClassPack), a simulation software package for its CoroBot mobile robot.The physics-based mobile robot simulation runs within Microsoft Robotics Studio and supports nearly all of the features of the real CoroBot model CB-WA. ClassPack is designed for educators who want to put a robot in the hands of every student, but cannot purchase multiple physical robots. By using the CoroWare ClassPack simulator, students can write robotics code that will run both in simulation and on a real CoroBot.“The great benefit of using ClassPack is that researchers and students can experiment with a lower-cost version of CoroBot in the simulation environment.
