March 16, 2008 - Hardy Instruments is pleased to announce that Al Fitzpatrick has been appointed to the new position of Director of Sales and Marketing - North America for Hardy Instruments and Metrix Instrument Co. Al will have a key role in expanding North America business and developing new growth opportunities. He will also supervise the company Regional Managers and Customer Service groups for Hardy and Metrix in North America. Al has over 20 years of experience in the Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Logistics arena. In his previous position at Toshiba International, he designed a new sales and marketing model by forming self-contained regional teams. This new process helped grow the business by 28%. At Fuji Heavy Industries, he designed and implemented a customer feedback process, which provided input into the sales and marketing programs and a direction for new products and accessories.
