October 7, 2008 - Allied Electronics has released its 2009 Allied Catalog featuring over 20,000 new products and more technical information and product photos than ever before. The 2009 Allied catalog showcases more than 115,000 products from over 300 suppliers. More than 20,000 new products are featured in the new Allied catalog, giving engineers access to the latest innovative technologies at their fingertips. Allied also enhanced its sections with a color coded key to make it easier to find products. The new catalog features product lines from several new suppliers, including Eaton/Cutler Hammer, Hirschmann Automation & Control, AIM Solder, Fluke Networks, RCD Components, Nicomatic, EOS Red Rocket Power, Excelsys Technologies Limited, Kavlico, Micro Commercial Components, Micro Lamps, Tyco Electronics Raychem Circuit Protection and Visual Communications Company. “The 2009 Allied Catalog offers full color product photography and detailed product features and is the best indexed in the industry,” said Lee Davidson, president of Allied. “The 2009 Catalog provides design engineers and purchasers with a resource that is the perfect companion to the web site.” The new catalog also meets SFI Certified Sourcing requirements, as all pages in the catalog are obtained from the “Sustainable Forestry Initiative” program, which integrates the perpetual growing and harvesting of trees with the protection of wildlife, plants, soil, water and air quality. The 2009 Allied Catalog is also available in an online format.
