GE Fanuc's SafetyNet approved by Lloyds Register Group

October 14, 2008 - GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms announced that its PACSystems SafetyNet received approval from the Lloyds Register Group for marine, offshore and industrial use in Lloyd’s environmental categories ENV1, ENV2 and ENV3. With this new approval, PACSystems SafetyNet can now be used in functional safety applications, including fire & gas, emergency shutdown and burner management systems on-board ship applications.Lloyd’s Register is one of the leading certification authorities for marine equipment.
