March 12, 2009 – Beckhoff Automation announced that Joe Martin has been selected as the company’s new Packaging and Converting Sales Manager. In his new role, Martin will help major North American manufacturers and machine builders in the packaging, converting and related industries implement the latest in Beckhoff’s PC-based control and Industrial Ethernet technologies. Previously, Martin was Director of Sales at Holt Electric, Inc., a major Midwest electrical distributor based in Hartland, Wis. At Holt, Martin built a wealth of experience serving major packaging and converting clients and enhanced his already deep experience with industrial controls technology. Throughout his career, Martin has also served in high level management at a wide range of automation and controls suppliers.
