Online CoDeSys Programming Course

Alexandria Technical College has introduced an online training course for the CoDeSys IEC 61131-3 software. This online series will introduce the participant to the CoDeSys development environment and provide the competence for efficient reusable code development. This is a completely interactive, online training process. The training is delivered live and the learner is in direct voice communication with the instructor at all times. The programming takes place on virtual machines that can be viewed and manipulated by the participant, the instructor or both at any time. The training has been divided into a 6-session basic and a 4-session advanced component. Each session lasts only 2 hours and is broken into a didactic first hour and a hands-on second hour lab.The Basic CoDeSys Programming series is a 6-session series delivered 2 hours per session, 3 sessions per week for 2 weeks. The sessions are designed to serve as a comprehensive overview of the CoDeSys development environment and to provide participants the skills to use this software for basic and intermediate application development.
